"I selected SmartStrand carpet when doing our basement build-out for one specific reason. I knew my nephews were coming. They can make a mess of anything. Sure enough, even before we'd finished the room, one of my nephews knocks over a can of black paint. He was very upset so I told him not to worry because "this carpet is magic so the paint won't hurt it." He was amazed when the paint really came out completely. In less than a year, he and his siblings have spilled chocolate milk, pizza, spaghetti, red clay, ice cream and ranch dressing onto the carpet. To which he always calmly tells everyone not to worry, because "nothing hurts the magic carpet." To date, he's right. The Mohawk carpet still looks brand new."

"I felt compelled to share this with you.....last week my 12 year old granddaughter spilled an entire bottle of hot pink finger nail polish on her new Smart Strand carpet in her bedroom.  My son called to order for the whole room to get replaced and then the next day thought it wouldn't hurt to try and get it out with straight polish remover - gave my granddaughter a full bottle of finger nail polish remover poured it directly on the stains (and they were huge) and it did come out with absolutely no damage to the carpet.  I am telling anyone that will listen -  my son and husband are contractors and I will be telling anyone building or remodeling too -  thank you !     Marilyn Connor   Helena,MT"

"I am a flooring retailer who recently had the pleasure of installing Mohawk's EverStrand carpet in our county's first "Green" Parade of Home.  EverStrand carpet is made from recycled bottles.

The proceeds of the sell of the home went to the PCBA Foundation which supports the Future Builder's of  America.

"I am a father of two very small children, and we just put Mohawk carpet in our family room.  It is the ideal carpet for any high traffic area where toddlers run wild.  Kids messes and spills are no match for Mohawk's durability.  At the same time, the carpet is is soft when they fall and aesthetically perfect."
